Kevin's career began with Shimmick Construction Co., Inc., where he received training in building and estimating heavy civil contracts for government agencies. This initial experience provided him with a strong foundation in the construction industry, particularly in the heavy civil contracting sector.

Following his time with Shimmick Construction, Kevin joined Bernards Brothers, Inc., where he established a long-standing position. During his tenure at Bernards Brothers, he expanded his expertise into various market sectors, including mixed-use, education, commercial, and senior living. These sectors demanded a fast-paced workflow and meticulous attention to detail, reflecting Kevin's versatility and adaptability.

In addition to his roles in general contracting, Kevin has also taken on various responsibilities as an Owner's representative in the DSA (Division of the State Architect) and Custom Homes market sectors. His comprehensive understanding of the construction industry has proven valuable to both project owners and project teams.

Kevin's educational background is in Civil and Environmental Engineering, with emphases in Structural and Geotechnical Engineering, as well as Business Management. He earned his Bachelor's degree from The Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). During his time at UCLA, he achieved the status of Engineer in Training (EIT) and is actively working toward obtaining his Professional Engineering (PE) license.
